Software vendors just love to have their own dedicated box, right? We all know about the Google Appliance.
Now the “SAP Appliance”:http://www.informationweek.com/news/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=206901687.
We all know how difficult it is to install and maintain Lawson (despite their best attempts to convince us of their low TCO…) , particularly if you have add-ons like LBI, PSA, etc. One way to perhaps counter this “expense” is to Lawson in a hosted environment (which Lawson and some partners alreay offer).
Will the next step be a “Lawson Appliance” ?
